ABOUT
The Green Grass Centre has been created to lift the spirits and improve life skills of the local community in Hag Fold and Atherton. We offer a wide range of activities and courses. The Community Garden Project Growing Together is great for meeting new friends and growing vegetable’s herbs and lots more everyone is welcome. Special events and courses are provided for the whole community to attend. If you would like to get involved there are lots of volunteering opportunities. If you need help or advice, want to make changes, meet new people, or simply a chat and a drink pop in it’s your community, it’s your right. Our front door is always open to you please come and experience a warm and friendly welcome and discover how the centre can change your life.

There are gardening opportunities for the enthusiast or the beginner, an opportunity to show how creative the community is, growing vegetables free of additives, and gaining skills which can be used to produce your own vegetable garden at home and save yourself pounds off your shopping bill.
